Caring For Your Flowers. Some of your flowers may still be in bud, so take care when removing any packaging. You should cut the stems at an angle about 3cms from the end, removing any leaves, which may sit below the water line. Place in deep water and stand in a cool, shady place for an hour or more to allow your flowers to recover from their journey. Do not present your flowers in a metallic vase or container, as the flower food provided will react with the metal. Keep your flowers in a cool location away from draughts, direct heat or sunlight. Top up regularly with water and flower food. Do not untie any 'hand tied' bouquets, these have been specially arranged for you and are ready to display. Flowers arranged in floral foam require a careful top-up of cold water every day. All of our products are supplied with a 'care pack'. This contains a sachet of cut flower food, a card with our contact details and appropriate instructions to help you care for your floral gift. If we can provide you with any further help with looking after your gift, please feel free to contact us. |
